Cecil Dee Davis passed from this life and went to see his Savior on August 3, 2023. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 52 years, Alice Lucille Davis, son Cecil Dee Davis Jr. (Buddy), daughter Brenda Sue Herolt, grandchildren Robin, Dusty, Chris, Courtney, Kevin, T.J., Misty, Annie, Clifton, and Julie, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Cecil & Beulah Davis, sister Cecille, son Wayne, and two daughters, Kathy and Brenda Kay.

CD started serving in ministry at the age of 17 and continued in ministry for the rest of his life. He loved music and together with three other equally talented men, formed the "Sounds of Glory" quartet with whom he travelled, sang, and ministered with across the United States. CD also served on the ministry team of his dearly beloved Conroe Church of Christ for many years. In his final years, he held services at the Wellington Senior Living facility with assistance by his grandson, Kevin Holleman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Conroe Church of Christ, located at 1860 Longmire Road, with Minister Steve Yates officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Park Cemetery behind Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303.
