GERALD A. NEWHOUSE
FRANKFORT, IN. Gerald A. "Jerry" Newhouse, 67, of 308 S. Harrison St., a 30-year-member of the Marine Corps, died at 4 p.m. Sunday in Cold Springs Road Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis after a lingering illness. Born in Frankfort, he was married in i947 to Vivian Cos-sel who survives. He lived in Frankfort except for the time he spent in service. He retired after serving as club manager of the Elks and American Legion here and co-manager of the Eagles lodge. He was a member of St. Matthew's Methodist Church. Mr. Newhouse was a life member of American Legion Post 12 and the American Legion Century Club, a member of 40 & 8 Club, VFW Post 1110, Moose Lodge No. 7 , a 25-year member of Eagles Lodge Aerie 976 and a 38-year member of the Elks. Surviving with the wife are a son, Ronald Lee of Frankfort,; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia McCausland of Noblesville and Mrs. Gerald-ine A. Ridneour of Frankfort; two stepdaughters, Trudy George of Noblesville and Judith George of Indianapolis, and a brother, Ralph E. of Frankfort.
