Ketron "Ke Ke" Xavier Smith, 20, of Kissimmee Avenue, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Friday, May 5, 2023 in Suffolk, Virginia. He is the son of Ebony Powell. Ketron was preceded in death by his grandfather, Randy Barnes; great grandmother, Mary White; great grandfather, Leroy White and two aunts, Linda and Sheila and cousin Corey White.

"Ke Ke" was a very quiet, shy, respectful, kindhearted and would literally give you the shirt off his back. He loved music and his favorite color was red.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ebony Powell (Frank Walker); Father, Jamal Smith (Keith Eure); sister, A'Unique White; four brothers, De'Vondre White, Ta'Shawn White, Corey White and J-Kwon Smith; nephew, Braylen Norfleet; niece, Brayanna White and Zy'lani White; grandmothers, Tracy White and Tracy Smith; grandfather, George Reid, Jr.; aunt, Chasity White; uncle, Frederick White; great-great aunts, Betty Goodman, Virginia Ralph and Beulah Mae Johnson; great-great uncle, William Wilkins; special cousins, Tempest White, Kempren White, Jaylen Bradshaw and Nathaniel Shaw.

A public viewing will be held 4:00-7:00pm, Thursday, May 18, 2023 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held 12 Noon, Friday, May 19, 2023 at Balm Church East Campus. He will be laid to rest at Langston Cemetery, 5182 Whaleyville Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23438.
