Bette Ann Welker, 81, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Pickering House.
She was born March 8, 1927, in Amanda. Bette was a homemaker and worked at the Defence Supply Center of Columbus (D.C.S.C.) during World War II. She was a member of Fairfield Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Mathias; parents; and brothers, Jerry and Tom Bell.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday at Sheridan Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Barbee officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Amanda Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairfield Christian Church or FairHoPe Hospice.
