Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and attended New Liberty United Baptist Church. Louise was a Christian and enjoyed serving her church and God. She married Clayton H. Allen, on April 18, 1949, and they were blessed with seven children. Louise loved to cook and especially enjoyed cooking for her family. Everyone that ate her fried chicken would always come back for more. She also enjoyed baking cookies for her grandchildren, and the enjoyed eating them as well. Everyone that met her remembered her by her smile and silly remarks.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-eight years; children: Marvin Allen, Russell Allen, Clarence Allen, and Kathleen Robinson; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother: Tony Babb; sisters: Elizabeth Pruett, Lillian Allen, Margaret Allen, Sadie Babb and one infant sister.
Louise is survived by her children: Dennis Allen and wife Alice of Ellsinore, Pam Willis and husband Tom of Patterson, Erma Sullivan and husband Herb of Piedmont; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren; fifteen plus great-great-grandchildren. Louise will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 11, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm, also at funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Meador-Flatwoods Cemetery near Piedmont.
