Marguerite Althea Heald grew up in Chelmsford, MA and Uncasville, CT.
After high school graduation, she joined the US Navy and served during the Korean War before she married. She loved the Navy and although happy to be starting a family, she was sad to leave the service.
She worked many jobs, but the most important one was that of Mother and home maker. She dearly loved her family and her country!
