He was born Feb. 22, 1917, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Hubert and Caroline Homan. He was an accountant for International Harvester for many years. Harry was an Eagle scout and was known as Mister Boy Scout, volunteering his time until he was 80 years old and was awarded the Silver Beaver award for his dedication. He was known for his loving smile and positive attitude.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Hubert; brother, Hubert; sisters, Dorothy Miller and Carolyn in infancy.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Tillotson of New Auburn; brother, Charles (Midge) Homan of St. Paul, Minn.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at the All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Ill., on Friday, April 11, 2008, at 11 a.m.
