He was the grandfather of Cecil, Ronald, Bobby, Alan and Cleo, Lewiston, Idaho; Teresia, Chehalis, Wash.; Virgilene, King Salmon; Neana and Stanley, White Salmon, Wash.; Cleo Ray, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas; Amanda, Teena, Tammy and Nannette, Arcata; great-grandfather of Keeta, Eureka; Michelle, Chehalis, Wash.; John, White Salmon, Wash. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Hyde was born May 21, 1914 at Jessup, Iowa. He had lived in Humboldt County since 1955 and had worked in local sawmills, retiring in 1971.
Friends are invited to attend services at the Chapel of the Ferns, Monday, January 15, 1979 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Layman, officiating. Private concluding services will be at Ocean View Cemetery.
