Phyllis was predeceased by her 3 husbands, John E Hanbury, Jr, George St.Germain, and Albert E Schickle.
Affectionately known as "Nanny", she is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Peggy) Hanbury Hallion (Thomas) of Chesterfield, NJ & Phyllis Hanbury Welby (Robert) of Osterville, MA; 7 grandchildren, Thomas Hallion, Jr (MariaElena), Teresa Gardner (Robert), David Hallion (Erin), Debra Eiffert (Timothy), Julianne Welby-McQueen (Greg), Robert Welby (Jennifer), & Marianne Sweeney (William) and 14 Great-grandchildren.
Phyllis sang professionally for 30+ years, and was a "snowbird" between West Palm Beach, FL, Onset Island, MA, and Boynton Beach, FL for 35 years. Phyllis went back to school at 50 years of age to become a LP and worked at St Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL before she retired to Sandwich, MA in 2003. She then volunteered at Cape Cod Hospital for the next 15 years.
Funeral Services will be held on Aug 12, at 11 am at the Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road, North Hanover Twp, NJ. Friends and Family are invited to her viewing on Friday, Aug 11, from 7pm to 9pm at the Perinchief Funeral Home, 438 High St, Mt Holly, NJ. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Cape Cod, MA at a future date. Contributions would be welcomed in Phyllis' name to Samaritan Hospice Care, 3906 Church Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, who lovingly cared for Phyllis for her last 2yrs.
