Wanda D. Lane, of Athens, PA, passed away on August 11, 2023, unexpectedly at Robert Packer Hospital, age 61. Wanda was born on November 6, 1961 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Dean Ayers and Eleanor Ayers.

She loved baking, watching British movies, spending time with her grandchildren and watching Disney movies from her large collection of the films. Wanda was known as a very generous person helping out who ever needed a hand.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 33 years, Austin "Dusty" Lane; children Roxanne (Dave) Mays, Suzanne (Chris) Hanrahan, Deanna (Jeremy) Garvin and James (Amber) Rosh; step-children Eric Lane and Jennifer Lane; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; also survived by nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, GiGi.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main Street, Athens, PA, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Bradford County Memorial Park.

Following the services, the family invites her friends to join them at the Sayre VFW to share memories and have a meal together from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
