Joyce Ann Aubrey, age 72 of Hudson, KY passed away August 13, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on February 6, 1951, daughter of the late Delia Frances Hale and James Franklin Clark. Joyce retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education after 27 years. She was a member of Hudson Community Church and Breckinridge County Retired Teachers Association. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping. She spent many hours farming with her husband.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Judy, Billy and Mary Lou.

2 daughters: Sandy Davis (Craig) of Leitchfield, KY and Gayle Smallwood (Kenny) of Hudson, KY
8 grandchildren: Courtney, Karrie, Cierra, Raley and Shane (Katherine) Davis, Keilana Cargo, Dale Smallwood (Stephanie) and Donna Smallwood
15 great grandchildren
1 brother: Tommy Clark (Debbie) of Louisville, KY
2 sisters: Doris Smith (Larry) of Glasgow, KY and Sue Clark of Charlotte, NC
Funeral services will be held at Hudson Community Church on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 1 PM with burial in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, 4-7 PM and Friday after 9 AM.
