Robert Glenn Ashley was born September 25, 1955 in Hereford, TX to Vivian Taylor Ashley and Preston Ashley. He made his journey home on August 10, 2023.

At the time of his passing, he was a bachelor, but when he was married, he loved with all his heart. The two true loves of his life were his family and friends.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, George Preston Ashley, nephew, Rodney DeWayne Matney, niece, Amelia Ann Ashley, and both sets of his grandparents.

Glenn graduated from Kellyville High School in1975. Most of his life was spent in Kellyville and still resided there until his passing. His work background was in many areas, welding shops, Bartlett Collins Glass Plant, and the oil field area.

Everyone who knew Glenn knew of his passion and love for his family and friends, the bond he had with his siblings, no matter what was going on in their lives, and the love for his nephews and nieces. Then there was his passion for hunting and fishing, especially fishing, and let us not forget all the funny stories he would tell about his mishaps and incidents that seem to be always happening to him. Think on this incident, outhouse, snake, gun!

Survivors include his mother, Vivian Ashley of Henryetta, OK, brothers Terry Ashley and wife Alice of Roosevelt, OK., Dale Ashley and wife Toni of Schulter, OK and sister, Sherry Hopkins and husband Dean of Bristow, OK., as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and relatives.

Honoring Glenn's wishes he will be cremated, and his ashes scattered in his favorite fishing holes.
