Lois Chaupette, sixty-four years of age, passed away on October 6, 2011 at Tulane University Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Ronald Joseph Chauppette; children, Connie Castaing, Ronald "Rook" Chauppette Jr, and Kelly Bailey; two brothers, Billy Wayne "Bo" Rowell and Jimmy Ray Rowell; grandchildren, Heather, Joshua, Rook, Cindy, Sarah, Jude, and Nathan; and one great-granddaughter, Lilly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Mary Rowell; and three brothers, John Earl Rowell, Jesse James Rowell, and Doyle Rowell.
