Joan Stanish, 73, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away October 16, 2004. A long time Scottsdale resident, she was born in Glencoe, IL. She was a long time volunteer and member of the Camp Fire Girls, St. Luke's Service League, Phoenix Art Museum and St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughters Deborah (Peter) Greason, Mesa, AZ, Catherine Stanish, Alexandria, VA, and Jacqueline (Brian) Norris, Scottsdale, AZ; sisters Patricia (Paul) Holland, Scottsdale, AZ and Willie Sue (Julian) Orr, Pescadero, CA; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom G. Stanish and daughter Jennifer Steinberg. Private services were held. Memorial contributions to Hospice of the Valley, Eckstein Center, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, AZ.
