Mrs. Malinda Gardner, wife of J. R. Gardner, died at the residence of Wm. Ballantine, whose wife was, when living, the only child of Mrs. Garner, at 520 Pine street, this morning at 5 o'clock, after an illness of three or four years. Heart trouble was the cause of her death. Her age was 74 years 5 months and 18 days. The funeral will be held at the house Thursday afternoon at 8 o'clock. Burial at Riverside.
