Jennifer Michelle Reinke, formerly of Fort Smith, passed into her eternal life with her Lord and Savior peacefully, at age 45, in her home in Springdale, AR, early on Thursday morning, August 17, 2023.

She was born on September 27, 1977, in Pomona, California, as a blessing to her parents, Deanna and Steven Reinke. As a child she was raised in Ontario, California, and Peoria, Arizona. She attended Vina Danks Elementary School in Southern California and Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. She studied Theater at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona. She is a baptized, saved and strong Christian, active in churches that she joined during her life. She used her sign language interpretation skill to help deaf people, to help her son's developmental delays, and to serve God's Gospel and Kingdom.

Over the course of her work career she was employed by Southwest Indian School and World Gospel Missions in Peoria, AZ, to teach Drama, by Magazine Public School District as a substitute teacher in Magazine, Arkansas, by West Telemarketing as a telephone representative in Fort Smith, by Mercy and Grace Preschool as a childcare teacher in Springdale, Arkansas, and as a home health caregiver for Visiting Angels.

While residing in Arizona, her family attended Calvary Community Church in Phoenix. While residing in Texas, her family attended Cornerstone Church in Cleveland and Second Baptist Church in Kingwood, Texas. She volunteered her talents and time to Lupus Foundation Of America, the national non-profit umbrella organization United Civil Rights Councils of America, Harvest Time Tabernacle in Fort Smith, FAITH Homeschool Cooperative in Fort Smith, Relief Bus in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and Mercy & Grace Cathedral in Springdale.

She met and fell in love with Kinley Hardin in Summer, 2000, in Fort Smith. He and she married in Liberty County, Texas. His and her miracle child was born on June 28th, 2001, in Cleveland, Texas. She named him Timothy Steven, after her father Steven.

Jennifer was preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents, Hank and Nina Reinke, Betty and Walter Wiseley, her mother Deanna Reinke, her adopted aunt Nancy Butler, her father-in-law Quintin Hardin, and her close childhood friend, Sarah Woolery.

Jennifer is survived by her father Steven Reinke of Springdale, one sister Krista Rakestraw and one brother-in-law Sandy Rakestraw, both of Fort Smith, one son Timothy Hardin of Greenwood, her ex-husband Kinley Hardin and mother-in-law Rose Marie Hardin, both of Fort Smith, one step-daughter Sarah Hardin of Phoenix, Arizona, four nephews Tylor Gobble, John Gobble, Keith Rakestraw, and Kristopher Rakestraw, three grand-nephews, two grand-nieces, her lifelong sister in Christ, Daphne Boudreaux of Phoenix, Arizona, and countless friends she accumulated over the years and cities in which she lived.

Her family gives thanks to Mercy & Grace Cathedral's members and pastor for providing her a church family and support.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate and honor her life at 11 a.m.on Thursday, August 31st, 2023. The venue will be City Of Refuge Ministries, 5918 Ferguson St., in Fort Smith. Dr. Clarence Smith, Jr. will officiate the service. There will not be a graveside service.
