David Davis, age74 of Pennington, passed away, August 20, 2023 at his home. He was born April 6, 1949 in Crockett to parents, Cleon Davis and Catherine Martin Davis. David was a graduate of Groveton High School and worked as a roofing contractor for several years. He was a member of the Piney Creek Missionary Baptist Church. David loved the Lord and his family, he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by parents, Cleon Davis and Catherine Havard; brothers, Martin and Jimmy Davis; sister, Frances Guynes.
Funeral services for David Davis will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Bro. Link Ham officiating. Interment to follow at Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
