M. Delmer Duvall, 73, of New Castle passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 16, 1949 to the late Billy JR. and Dorothy Mae (Guffey) Duvall.
He worked in Sanitation for the City of New Castle retiring in 2017. Delmer enjoyed working on classic cars, watching the Colts and racing. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tara (Slettvet) Duvall; daughters, Charlotte (Charles) Pennington, Donna (Dana Andrew) Bright, Valerie Burkman; grandchildren, Cory, Jessica, Dillon, Megan, Kaity, Allison, Jayce and Eli; great grandchildren, Ivan and Jonah; four sisters, five brothers, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Steve Arnett officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
