Griffith (whose birth and death details are unknown to me at this time), and the husband of Mary Scott Griffith (who was born in 1836 in SC, and died in 1929 in Wayne County, MS); he served with the Mississippi Volunteers (Company 6, 37th Regiment) during the Civil War, and died in Columbus, MS of dysentery during that war. Buried somewhere east of De Soto, MS.
