She married George R. P. Stevenson Jr. (Paul) May 28, 1969. She was the former Clerk-Treasurer for the town of Rosedale.

Cindy was a devoted Wife and Mother. She stood by her husband and supported all of his stories with a "that's right Paul". In the 50s Cindy moved to California with her family and returned to Terre Haute Indiana in the 60s. After her Marriage to Paul, they moved to Minot, North Dakota during his military service and returned to Terre Haute in 1964. She worked at CBS Records in Terre Haute for a period in the 70s. Cindy attended IV Tech in Terre Haute and studied accounting. She was a farm wife on a small farm for several years in Rosedale, Indiana before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado where her and Paul purchased, renovated, and operated two motels. They sold the Motels and moved to Farmington, New Mexico for a brief period before moving back to Terre Haute, Indiana in 1979. Eventually they returned to Rosedale, Indiana where they made their permanent residence. She was Clerk Treasurer of the town of Rosedale before retiring in 2006.

Cindy enjoyed riding on the back of Paul's Goldwing trike motorcycle and loved to go mushroom hunting. In their late 60's and early 70's, Cindy and Paul toured the United States on their motorcycle, attending the Sturgis Bike Rally Twice, and visited several National Parks. She was a lover of dogs, especially her latest puppy Remi. In 2019 Cindy suffered a stroke and eventually had to move to Clinton Gardens Nursing home Memory Care Unit "The Cottage".
