Benjamin Franklin Osgood's parents were Lemuel Osgood, Jr. Tamma 'Fanny' (Purdy) Osgood. Franklin's parents farmed in Stephenson County, Ill. which is adjacent to Green County, Wis., so in actuality, they only lived perhaps 10 miles apart.
Franklin and Rebecca Robb were married April 1, 1841 in Stephenson County, IL.
In 1850 Franklin was a farmer living with his wife and several children in Jordon, Green County, Wisconsin.
In August of 1865 the family lived in Vermillion township, Marshall County, Kansas.
In 1875, 1880, and 1885 they were farming in Osage County, Kansas.
Their children included:
Matilda M. b. about 1843 in IL
Charles T, b. about 1845 in IL
Angeline b. about 1848 in WI
Esther b. about 1848 in WI
Clarissa b. about 1851 in WI
Sarah J. b. about 1852 in WI
Dora b. about 1860 in Kansas
My thanks to Jerry Ames for the information about Franklin's parents.
