What can I say about my Dad (Pop). He was a great man. He raised his 5 childern alone. Three girls Barbara, Rosa and Jackquline, and two boys John 3rd and myself Joe. He was a giving man. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He was loved greatly by all.

He was in the Navy in Korea. He talked about his friends in the Navy & how much they ment to him. He would tell us stories of his time in the Navy. He was proud of his time in the Navy. He left the Navy in 1954

He enjoyed watching his Grandson Colton play Foot-ball & Base-ball. Who he live close to. He did not play favorties with his grand children. Colton and he has a special bond. Colton could always bring a smile to his Pop-pops face

He was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Always in good sprits. Alway had a kind word for the nurses who had taken care of him. He had a bad heart from 1985. But never let it get him down. He was a fighter till the end. He knew it was his time to go. I was at his side when passed. I told him I would miss him and that I loved him. He just smiled and gave me a wink and took my hand and he was gone. I will never forget him. I think of him each day. Some things are not the same.

He loved the Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies. Win or lose he loved them. And he passed it on to me. Win or lose he was the BIGGEST Phillies fan around.

I can not say how much he will be missed. I know my sister Barbara, my son Adam and Nephew Colton and myself all miss him. And hope some day when it is our turn to go, He will be waiting for us. I hope he is looking down on all of us and hoping we are making him proud.

Pop, I hope you are where there is no more pain, And Mom-mom & Pop-pop and all the rest of our faimly is with you.
You are my best friend and always will. I know at times you and I did not get alone, But I hope in some small way I have made your last days happy ones.

God Bless my friend..

Rest in Peace.. All my Love Your son Joe
