Clearfield Progress April 24, 1975

Mrs. Lillie M. Bamat, 85, of 318 W. Pine St., Clearfield died at the Clearfield Hospital today at 5 a.m.

She was born in Frenchville Nov. 29, 1889, a daughter of Serdon and Marie (Sayers) Royer.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Helen) Plummer of Clearfield; two grandchildren, Mrs. Edward (Nancy) Stella of Camden, Del. and Miss Donna M. Plummer of Manheim; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest P. Bamat; two brothers, Edward and Francis Royer and a sister, Mrs. Madeline Deitz.

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, the Rosary and Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Rancis Catholic Church Saturday at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home Inc. Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until the hour of service Saturday.

Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home Friday evening.
