"A. E. FOURNIER DIES"
"Alfred E. Fournier, 46-year old North Biloxi native, died at Biloxi Hospital at 4:15 a.m. today after an illness of about three months in New Orleans and Biloxi. He leaves two children, Robert Eugene, US Navy, South Pacific and Betty Jane, North Biloxi; one sister, Mrs. George Moran, North Biloxi; four brothers, Benny, Percy, and Raymond, North Biloxi, and Doty, Biloxi, and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fournier. Mr. Fournier during the early days of radio was employed in a Freedom, Pa., radio factory. He later was a street car conductor in Cleveland, Oh. and worked in a similiar capacity for the Pennslyvania Railroad at Conway Yard. He married Mamie Smith in 1921 in Canton, Oh. and also at one time resided in Chicago, New York and Rochester. Seven years ago he returned to Biloxi and since has been employed as a painter and as an oyster counter. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the O'Keefe Funeral Parlors with services at Sacred Heart Church by Father Patrick McAlpine and burial in Quave Cemetery."

"The funeral of A. E. Fournier was held from the O'Keefe Parlors yesterday at 3 p.m. with services by Father Patrick McAlpine. Pallbearers were Roosevelt Fountain, Harry Fountain, Daniel Rodriguez, Sr., Ernest Rodrigues, Edward Fournier and Jos. Taranto. Services were at the Sacred Heart Church, North Biloxi, and burial was in the Quave cemetery."
