Floyd W Brown died Monday, Sept. 12, 1994, at his home in Las Cruces, N.M., where he lived since 1978. He was 88.

Floyd was born on Feb. 12, 1906 to John T. and Emma O. Johnson Brown in Levant. He married Ada E. Myers on Jan. 29, 1929.

He retired from his occupation as contractor in Colby in 1977. Floyd was a member of the Colby United Methodist.

Floyd was a 65-year member of the Odd Fellow Lodge #237 of Colby and was a member of Lodge #26 of Las Cruces. He served as Grand Master of Kansas in 1965-66 and as grand patriot in 1975-76.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada; and his parents.
