THE PARIS NEWS, April 22, 2007..

MIDLOTHIAN--Jessie Mae Bramlett Isom died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Lennwood Nursing and Rehap Facility.

A memorial service was held Friday, April 20, in the chapel of Midlothian Funeral Home, with burial following the service in Midlothian Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Midlothian Funeral Home.

Born May 16, 1917, to Jesse H. Bramlett and Bessie Nance Bramlett in Lamar County, she graduated from Paris Junior College and married John Calvin 'J.C.' Isom on May 29, 1940. They moved to Midlothian in 1954 and lived on the Kemp Ranch for 15 years. She was a member of Midlothian Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Jimmy Calvin Isom in 1951; and one brother, Rodger Bramlett.

Survivors include three children, Billy Wayne (Nellafay) Isom of Midlothian, Frances Kaye Isom (Wilson) Springer of Red Oak, and Richard Lynn (Teressa) Isom of Midlothian; two granddaughters, Kristi (Rick) Odell of Centennial, CO, and Amy (Chris) Enright of St. Joseph, MO; three great-grandchilchre, Jake & Molly Odell of Colorado, and Cameron Enright of Missouri; one sister, Wanda (Bob) Bray of North Little Rock, ARK; and one sister-in-low, Marcella Janet Isom of Bowie.
