Harold Dean Cheek, age 75, died Tuesday May 1, 2007 in Yellville, Arkansas.

Mr. Cheek was born August 5, 1931 at Midway, Arkansas, the son of Clifford and Effie Casey Cheek.

Mr. Cheek was a carpenter by trade and was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his three sons, two of Huston, TX and one of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, one of Yakima WA and one of Wichita, KS; two brothers, one of Yellville, AR and one of Fayetteville, AR, two sisters, one of Wichita, KS and one of Harrison, AR; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

His wife, Daisy Doyle Barnes, brothers, Nowell, Lowell, Johnny and Robert; sisters, Peggy and Anna preceded him in death.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Georges Creek Cemetery in Yellville with Reverend Eldon King officiating.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 at Burns Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers were present. Arrangements were under the direction of Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas (870) 449-6621.
