Mark Albert Fisher, age 71, of Bedford, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his residence. He was born July 19, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mark was a 1970 graduate of Trimble County High School and received a bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a master's degree from the University of Louisville. He also served in the Kentucky National Guard. He was serving as the regional manager for Pinnacle Treatment Center at the time of his death.
He was a member of Bedford Christian Church, served on the Apple Festival committee in Bedford, and was past president of the Madison Regatta in Madison, Indiana. Mark was an avid University of Kentucky fan and loved his animals.
Survivors include one sister, Lynda Kemp of Lexington, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Robinson Fisher on March 13, 2003 and brother-in-law, L. Ray Kemp, Jr. on May 7, 2023.
The Reverend Keith Oditt will conduct the funeral services.
