Henry M. Taroli, 81, of 8 Bridge Court, Carbondale, died Friday evening at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, after a lengthy illness. His widow is the former Lillian Molinaro.

Born Feb. 26, 1919, in Old Forge, son of the late Carlo and Amelia Gavasi Taroli, he was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. He was the owner of Carlo Cabinet Co., Carbondale, for 25 years, and was a miner with Pagnotti Coal Co., Old Forge, for 15 years.

Also surviving are a daughter, Henrietta Tomesetti, Carbondale; a stepson, Samuel Cadora, Scranton; a stepdaughter, Mary Lil Hayslett, Carbondale; three sisters, Ann Coffin, Nantucket, Mass.; Jean DeMarco, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Helen Schmale, New Jersey; a brother, Herman "Joe," Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward "E.J." Taroli.

The funeral will be today at 9 a.m. from the Carmine J.. and Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Inc., Farview and 41st streets, Carbondale, with Mass at 9:30 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook St., Carbondale. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
