He worked as the Supervisor of Claims Prevention at the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He died due to burns caused by a railcar explosion near Monroe, LA.
He was survived by wife Pauline, daughter Rose, brother Howard and sisters Lyda Sovado and Sue Stinson.
