JENNINGS, La. - John Thomas Smith, 66, a resident of Jennings for 25 years, died of a heart attack at the American Legion Hospital last night at 10:10.
He was born August 29, 1896 in Eastland, Texas and was a retired oil field worker.
The body will lie at Segura Funeral Home until time of services from the funeral home chapel tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Ther are no known survivors.
