Mary Lou was born in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Harry G. and Mary Jo (DeWitt) Chipman. At the time of her passing, she was living in Cheverly, Maryland.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, she was a retired computer analyst. She was a member of Takoma Park VFW Auxiliary, Daughters of the Confederacy, and she was a volunteer in Prince Georges Hospital.
She is survived by one brother; and one sister.
