MOBILE, Ala., - Feb. 29, - Abner D. Wolverton, 55, wealthy resident of Hartford City, Ind., committed suicide here by taking carbolic acid.
He had more than $3,000 in cash in his possession. He left a pathetic note, saying trouble had caused his act and giving directions for his burial.

BLUFFTON, Ind., Nov. 15 - The estate of the late Abner Wolverton was appraised Monday for inheritance tax purposes at $25,260.97 by County Assessor Palmer, of Blackford County. The appraisement was approved by the court. Of this amount, $5,581.92 was personal property and the remaining valuation on real estate. Wolverton, following an estrangement with his children committed suicide in a southern state while touring that section apparently in search of two sons, who had left home. The heirs are Archibald W. Wolverton, Iza A. Wolverton, Mary Wolverton, Abner D. Wolverton and Russell E. Wolverton, sons and daughters. One son, Archie, is well known here, having been employed at the Thorp store on West Wiley avenue.
