Helen L. Abel, 65, of Central Square, NY passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday April 8, 2008 after a long illness, with her family by her side. Helen is pre-deceased by her son Carl Heinrich in 2007 and her daughter Sandy Abel in 2007. She is survived by her husband Robert Abel, of 39 years; son Steven (Colleen) Heinrich; daughter Patricia Abel; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews; and her loving Pomeranian, Tibbet. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main Street, Central Square. Calling hours will be held on Friday fom 12 to 2 p.m. prior to service. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
