James L."Jim"Barney formerly of 12 Washingto St.
Greenville died this morning(1-28-1988) in St Paul Homes West Salem Township,where he had been a resident.He was 62.
Mr Barney was born in Wheeler Ind. July 10 1925 to
Charles and Rose(Taylor)Barney.
He had been a self employed truck driver and was of the Protestant faith. A World War 11 veteran he served in the Army.
Surviving are a son Dale Barney,Franklin and two daughters,Betty Myers and Mrs Randy(Ruth)Wagner both Greeenville.,two sisters Mrs Bill(Mary)Tucker and Mrs Ted(Evelyn)Pfiefer both Chesterton Ind. and four Grandchildren.
Two brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
