Connie L. Andrew, age 78, of Whitewright, TX, died Friday, November 13, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Connie was born on February 6, 1937, in Pilot Grove, Southeast Grayson County, the son of the late J.W. Andrew and Captola Conner Andrew.
Connie served his country with four years of service in the United State Air Force. He retired from Texas Instruments after 35 years and was a member of Pilot Grove Baptist Church. Connie loved to fish and enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in their numerous activities.
Connie is survived by a son, Jason L. Andrew and wife Wende of Whitewright; daughter Jill Andrew of Whitewright; sister Joan Andrew West of Currituck, N.C.; and five wonderful grandchildren Jayden Andrew, Jace Andrew, Bree Andrew, Clara Andrew and Augustus Andrew.
As a testament to his giving nature, Connie donated his body to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for the advancement of medical education and research.
The family requests that you join them for visitation and memorial service from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Whitewright Civic Center, Whitewright, TX.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Whitewright Youth Baseball/Softball Association, PO Box 178, Whitewright, TX 75491.
