She was born Sept 8, 1916 in Springfield, the daughter of Jesse and Anna Davison Bunting Sr. She married James E Cook in 1947; he died in 1988. Mrs Cook was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She was a homemaker.
Survivors: two daughters, Mrs Joseph (Tanna) Keen of Jacksonville and Mrs Michael (Tami) Burg of Cantrall; a stepson, William C Cook of Springfield; four grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; a sister, Mrs William (Charlotte) Casper of Athens; a brother, Jesse Bunting of Rialto, Calif; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 2pm Monday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev Pat Render, CSV officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
