Philip Sloan Auchincloss, 82, passed away August 22, 2022. He was born March 16, 1940, in New York City to Lydia and Samuel Auchincloss. Philip was an avid biker, world traveler and kind and loving husband and father.
Philip is survived by his wife; two sons; and grandchildren.
Philip will be greatly missed by his family and many in his community. He will be remembered for his easy-going nature, love of all things business, inventive spirit, strong moral character, bicycles, and love of all things sweet.
A celebration of his life will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Salem Funeral Home, 120 South Main Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. There will be a time of visitation and fellowship after the celebration service until 7 p.m.
