Donald Edward "Donnie" Darr 59, of Front Royal, VA died Monday November 11, 1996 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Roayl, VA.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by Pastor Howard Mayes. Burial will be in Panorama Memorial Gardens in Waterlick, VA.
Mr. Darr was born August 27, 1937, in Front Royal, son of the late Clarence W. and Arbella Martin Darr. He was a printer in Washington, D. C., and Maryland for 40 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 829.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Metz Darr; two daughters, Donna Rae Hall of Arnold, Md., and Debra Dawn Darr of Front Royal; a son Donald E. "Cass" Darr, Jr. of Clinton, Md.; two sisters, Mary Lee Oden of Front Royal and Margretta M. Henry of Front Royal; three brothers, Dewitt Darr of Edgewater, Md., Kenneth Darr and Richard Darr, both of Front Royal; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews: Bobby Henry, Timmy Darr, Kenny Darr, Joey Darr, Bruce Hite, Chris Metz, and Steve Kendall.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
