Jimmy Clyde Alexander, 76, of Burleson, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017. Jimmy was born on August 4, 1940 in Grand Saline, Texas to Burt Tessman Alexander and Juanita Joyner.

Jimmy grew up in Grand Saline, he was a country boy through and through. He was active as a youth and eventually went off to serve his country in the United States Navy. When Jimmy came home from the Navy he was introduced to the love of his life, Jerrie Boyd. They were married June 21, 1960 and started their family together. He loved tinkering on his projects and fishing with his son-in-law, when he wasn't enjoying nature he was spending time with Buddy, his beloved dog. Jimmy was an open and honest man. He loved his family and cherished all the memories made together.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Jerrie Alexander; his daughter, Jackie Alexander Pressley and husband Keith; his granddaughters, Alexa Pressley, Kristen Artberry and husband Shahada; his adopted son, Michael Kenyon; his brother-in-law, James Boyd and wife Cheri, along with other loving family and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Burt and Juanita and his son Jimmy.

Services will be held on 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2017 at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park located at 850 N. Cardinal Rd Azle, Texas 76020
