George was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on July 15, 1923, to Barbara and Louis Kaether. He was a longtime employee of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved being outside with his horses, cows and dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Barbara Jo Pearsons Kaether; daughter, Peggy Jane Kaether; and brothers, Jack and Louis.
Survivors: His loving wife, Ova Lee Hill Kaether; daughters, Jenny Gray and Susan Jo Kaether; grandchildren, Courtney Ray, Gaven Gray and Sue Ann Gray; great-grandchildren, T.J., Braylon and Izzy; adopted daughter, Pam Temple; numerous nieces and nephews.
