Sarah Ann Wilson Newberry was born 08 28 1873 and departed this life feb 01 1935 at 1:30 p.m. at the age of 61 years and 5 months on feb 08 1893 she was married to W. M. Newberry and to this union 8 children were born Mrs Cloria Reser of MAnsfield, Mrs. Bessie Mae May of Arkansas, Mrs Bertha Alford of Arkansas, Nola Barlett of Ava, Jesse Newberry of Ava, Mrs Grace Reser Who preceeded her in death, Mar 6 1933, Hercle Newberry, of Ava, and Henry Newberry of Ava. She leaves to mourn her departure 7 chilred and their families, and her husband relatives and freinds, she united her life in Christ at the age of 27, living a devoted life for 35 years, while sick in bed for 11 weeks, she told how she was ready to go and longed for that Heavenly home, were there is peace and rest.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J W Silvey at the Spring Creek church, with burial in the Spring Creek church cemetery.
