"Followed Sister to Early Grave
Mrs. Thomas Rea died at her mother's home in this city on Saturday night after an illnes [sic] of two weeks' duration. Mrs. Rea and her sister, the late Mrs. Beaulieu, contracted a fatal illness in San Francisco, where they were visiting a short time ago. Mrs. Beauleau succumbed about a week ago and Mrs. Rea lingered between life and death until her sufferings ended on Saturday. The two bereavements following each other so closely have plunged the family in the deepest grief and have awakened the sympathies of the entire community.
Mrs. Rea was but twenty-five years of age and was of a bright and lovable disposition. She was the daughter of Mrs. M. H. Castle of this city, and was married about four years ago to Thomas Rea, the son of James W. Rea.
The funeral took place this afternoon and the interment was at Oak Hill."
