Moravia - Grant Owen Tadlock 73 a resident of Moravia died September 13 1975 at St Joseph Hospital in Ceneterville.
Born June 19 1902, near Unionville IA he was the son of Jon and Emma Swaim Tadlock. On Feb 5 1935 he was married to Helen Shull and they had farmed in the Moravia area for many years.
Surviving are his wife Helen six children Imogene Tisue, Moravia Baisl Tadlock Fairfeild; Larry Tadlock, Rock Island ILL; Joe Tadlock, Whittier Calif and Irene Brooks, Frederickburg, VA; and Naomi Porter, Moravia; one brother Lee Tadlock, 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his parents.
Services were at 1:30 pm Monday at Salem United Methodist Church in Moravia, with Revs Robt and Jo Hoover officiating assisted by the Rev Baisl Tadlock. Burial was in Hillcreat Cemetery here. A memorial fund for the lung association has been established.
