Margaret "Peggy" L. Kubisiak, age 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10 a.m. with Father Steven Weller presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. A private family burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.

Peggy was born on January 4, 1938, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Earl and Elsie (Manke) Ainsworth. After graduating from Lincoln High School, she attended Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in Milwaukee. Peggy met the love of her life Leo Kubisiak, in high school. They were married on November 29, 1958, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

Peggy worked at Riverview Hospital as a registered nurse and surgical nurse. Following her work at the hospital she worked for Colonial Appraisal side by side with Leo as a secretary for 40 years, retiring in September of 2003. Peggy said, "the best part of being the secretary for Leo was being able to sleep with the boss."

Peggy was a member of Riverview Hospital Aux., Tri City Ladies Golf and Red Hats. In her free time Peggy enjoyed walking, sewing, golfing, and traveling. Her greatest joy in her life was her family. Peggy will be deeply missed by them all.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Gary) Sawtell, Judith (Alan) Grover; sons, Allan (Andrea) Kubisiak, Joseph (Michelle) Kubisiak, Robert (Tina) Kubisiak, Ned (Kami) Kubisiak; grandchildren, Erin Overholt (Kevin Osborn), Reid (Charlotte) Sawtell, Sarah (Trevor) Sawtell-Dobias, Michael (Austin Yantes) Kubisiak, Steven (Kristin) Kubisiak, Maxwell Kubisiak, Cale Kubisiak, Dane Kubisiak, McKenzie Kubisiak, Jessyca Buttke, Quentin Buttke, Paige (Brady) Jackan, Riley (Austin) North, London Kubisiak; great grandchildren, Lucas Overholt, Chase Overholt, Jack Sawtell, Clara Sawtell, Jacob Kubisiak; many extended family, friends and special friend, Ed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo T. Kubisiak; parents; brother, Thomas Ainsworth and sister, Barbara (Carl) Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Margaret's name to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
