Henry Jenks, who resided one-half mile south of Toronto, on the old homestead of his deceased father, John Jenks, died at 4 o'clock on last Sunday morning of lung fever, after a few days illness. The deceased was born in the house where he died, 54 years ago. He was a member of the M.E. Church, and always lived an honorable, esteemed, and respected by all who knew him. His death is a sad loss to the community in which he had always lived. There were few purer or better Christians than Henry Jenks. He leaves a wife and several children who deeply feel the loss of a kind husband and dear father. His funeral occurred yesterday morning at Bono, his pastor Rev. O.M. Paxon of the M.E. Church preaching the discourse, after which his remains were consigned to their last resting place in the Bono Cemetery.
