Pamela Sue Niuman, age 78, of Beavercreek, passed away after a brief illness on January 17, 2023. She was born on September 23, 1944, in Columbus, OH to the late Donald Willard and Mary Genevieve Craig (Burns). Pamela married her sweetheart, James Niuman, on November 21, 1987, at Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Dayton. Pamela and James were founding members of Abundant Life Apostolic Church in Kettering, where they both were very active in church events and activities. Pamela was deeply devoted to her church and her husband. She enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting, crafts, reading, painting, and taking art classes. Pamela was also a very gifted seamstress, always helping those less fortunate with thrifted clothes and alterations. She will be remembered fondly by those who knew her for her giving spirit and genuine love and compassion for people.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, James Niuman; sister, Penny (Paul) Deaton of Versailles, KY; brother, Bob (Connie) Craig of Springfield, OH; nieces, Justine Craig-Meyer, Paige Craig, Nicole O'Connell, Faith Rattei, Kimberly Hatlestad, and Robyn Savage; sisters-in-law, Helen Craig of North Sioux City, SD; Cheryl Niuman of Staunton, VA, Janice Miller of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Virginia (Dr. Robert D.) Hill of Paris, MS; brother-in-law, Charles (Karen) Niuman of Aurora, IL; 15 nieces-in-law; 7 nephews-in-law; 7 great nieces-in-law, 5 great nephews-in-law; 3 great great nieces-in-law, and 5 great great nephews-in-law. Also surviving are her beloved canines, Princess, Pepper, Jessie Blue Freckman, Molly Muggins Freckman-Niuman (1st born of 10 "pupplings"), Lucy & Frisky Zee, Thumper, and Ginger.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Donald W. Craig Jr.; nephew-in-law, James David Miller, and brother-in-law, Robert Miller.

A gathering, in memory of Pamela, will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Abundant Life Apostolic Church, 4100 Brown Road, Kettering, OH 45440. A service will follow at the church at 12:00 PM with Pastor Chad Craig officiating. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Saturday between 9:00 – 11:00 AM. The family requests that rather than sending flowers, you consider making a memorial contribution to the church or to Hope Rising, formerly known as the Miami Valley Women's Center in Pamela's honor. Pamela's burial will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Rd., Xenia, OH 45385.
