Christopher Leonard Traxler, 92 of Le Center passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at Horizon Place in Le Center. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. all at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be sent to an organization in Mexico to help poor children.

Chris was born on August 24, 1931 in Mankato to Christopher E. and Agnes (Gish) Traxler. He was a McKinley High School graduate, and he attended St. John's University from 1949-1950 and came home to help take care of the farm. Chris was united in marriage to Patricia A. Plonske on December 26, 1959 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lexington.

Chris is survived by his wife, Patricia of Le Center; children, Chris (KayLee) Traxler, Diana (Jeff) Widmer, Todd Traxler (Katie), and Angie Traxler; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Edith, Margie, Dorothy, Betty, and Mary Eileen.

Arrangements are with the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center.
