Barb was living in Fairview, Michigan, at the time of her death. A sister, Patricia Elaine Nauman (2013MI), and a brother, Edward Michael Nauman (2023MI) predeceased her. Barb leaves behind a sister, a niece and two nephews, as well as six great nieces and nephews. Barb was in the Peace Corps for two and a half years. She had obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State in botany and had completed extensive work toward her Master's Degree.
