On Monday, October 25, 2010, Cleo Kathleen Shackelford Jones Ahlstedt passed away in Federal Way, Washington.

Cleo was born in Clarita, Oklahoma on June 7, 1914.

She attended public schools in Okahoma City.

She married Lloyd Clifton Jones in 1932. They had a beautiful marriage until his death in 1954.

Cleo then married Harold T. Ahlstedt and moved to Ferndale, Washington where they lived until Harold's death in 1990.

Cleo moved to Ellensburg, Washington in 1991 where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law Gail and Jerry Jones.

After Jerry's death in 1995 Gail and Cleo spent winters in Palm Springs, CA. They established a beautiful life there with many friends. Palm Springs Presbyterian Church became their spiritual home.

During her lifetime, Cleo was a devout Christian, an avid reader, a creative artist, a marvelous homemaker and a great lover of people.

Her firstborn, MaryLou and her husband Bob Moser gave her three grandchildren, Mike, Lori and Todd, who gave her 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Her secondborn Gail and her husband Jerry Jones gave Cleo three grandchildren, Kathy, Clif and Greg, who gave her 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Family and friend gathering November 6th at 1 pm at Northwest Four Square Church in Federal Way Washington.
